At Kent Building Developments we pride ourselves on the exceptional quality of the homes, extensions and conversions we undertake. Taking our work one stage further, we combine traditional methods of construction with low impact, environmentally friendly building materials. All our buildings are low maintenance.

In addition, we build our homes and restore buildings to be energy efficient. We use improved insulation with heat recovery and highly efficient heating systems. The additional insulation we provide in all our buildings helps to keep indoor air warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

Excellent design skills ensure all our properties are designed specifically to suit our client’s life and work style. We aim to exceed our client’s expectations. Steve Kent of Kent Building Developments Ltd has an extensive background in Building and Civil Engineering design and construction. He has worked on some of the UK’s largest projects. Steve and the rest of the team have a huge knowledge base enabling the company to offer a unique design consultancy and construction service, including architectural design and contract management.

Investors in people

In order to maintain the high standard of our workmanship we employ our own top quality time-served tradesmen. We train and develop our work force and are proud to be an "Investors in People" company for the benefit of everyone. We strongly believe that training our staff, including providing apprenticeships, is crucial in maintaining the quality and customer service we offer.

What are we working on now?

We have recently completed several garden rooms and extensions for properties in conservation areas and for some presenting challenging designs to meet ‘difficult’ design situations. We are now undertaking a new range of extensions, including one to provide extra space for a family. This one takes advantage of the complete Kent Building Developments Ltd service - architectural design and planning through contract management to final build.

Very soon we will be beginning more work away from our Yorkshire base, when we start work on an extension to a very special property in Malvern. More on this later with images.
